Hundmutter, I think preferences fall to the wayside when it comes to recognizing companionship :) We all like what we like, but regardless of bloodlines, little makes me happier than to see pictures of people with dogs they love.

IIRC, she works her dogs in both herding and obedience. Not everyone wants to do bitework with their dogs!
Even though her dogs aren't my personal preference as far as their conformation goes, I applaud and respect her for what she's doing. I only wish that a lot more American show line owners would do it!!
She is one of the few brave ASL owners who've stuck it out on the board. The rest have left, precisely because of people like you criticizing their dogs!
The dog you posted isn't what I'd personally look for in a GSD, either.
