My own suspicion is that these are the behaviors result when dogs are left alone for significant periods of time especially when living outside.
I have a friend who bought a 6 month old WL pup that was raised outside ( but with the company of other dogs ). She said that no matter what she did the dog had no interest in her ( but only with the other dogs she had ) . In the end she sold the pup because of this.

Mithuna, yes. However, sarcasm is something that requires understanding of the person delivering it.
But in reply to the falacy that a dog must be focused on the owner while it picture is being taken or else there is no connection between dog and owner is rubbish. Here's a dog wuth tremendous connection with its owner....not looking at the owner while pic is being taken.

Both pics are not same. In the pic I posted the owner was very close to the dog ( any one could tell from the photo resolution ...you can see individual pebbles on the ground ) , and the dog DOES NOT show any sign of alertness ( tail , ear , etc ) to any object.
In this pic the dog is obviously much further away from the photographer ( very low resolution photo...can you honestly see the expression on this dog's face???), and the dog is obviously alert to some thing ( so it is a reasonable conclusion that the in this pic the dog is not focused on the owner ).
So stop trying to make an analog out of two completely different scenarios. Im surprised and respected you as an experienced person on here.
