Agree with most of what has been said. If I had to choose it would be Djambo, but not with the highest degree of enthusiasm, just the best of the bunch.
Ibrahim, I think you should add 'heads' to your list. My pet hate at the moment is the heavy rottie heads that just don't belong on a GSD. Djambo has the better head.

I´m with Djambo - I hope he´ll do well in bitework and in the ring.
Why?
He is not overdone, he is Quenn-free, and I like a lot of his ancestors. He might be a very good alternative to the current studs.

Susie can I ask why 'Quenn free' is good in your opinion? Is it simply that he been overused or are there other reasons ? I did notice the trend for many breeders in the UK to flock to select Quenn as a stud, or puppies sired by him. But hasn't that always happened in recent years...the desperate rush to the latest VA.

Just try to find another showline male free of Quenn and free of Zamp ...

I dont know bzcz if you would agree with me or not, but I adopt a simple way to evaluate stifle angle (rear angulation) like this:
I determine and spot the thigh point and then the farther the distance of thigh point from the Horizontal is less rear angulation and vice versa.
Djambo
Gordon
Both above dogs have less rear angulation than, for example, Ceresio

Yes Abby, my list is incomplete, HEAD is important and nowadays has serious faults.

by Abby Normal on 02 September 2014 - 18:09
Thanks Susie, I thought that was probably the reason.
Hey Ibrahim...hope you're Well.

I also take Djambo first, Gordon next.
I think the trend toward that bigger head needs to STOP before it gets to far out of control.

Gordon
Djambo
Ceresio

What about Caruso? A lot of "old blood" ... maybe not fancy enough for the mainstream.
