My girl would drool so much when she was younger, it was embarrassing to take her places, she'd be soaked when we got there! No amount of desensitising worked for her, but she out grew it eventually. She progressed to barfing once each trip, (even more fun, ruined my car seat), but now she's good. I do feed a small meal before travel, seems to settle the tummies. My male, he could care less. Just the one time, he started to heave when we were driving to my daughter's house; I looked at him and said  "Chew it back, Beck!" and he looked back at me and swallowed! LOL! Last time he ever showed any sign of car sickness! jackie osborne
