If you must keep it bandaged, I would do a sugadine pack on it.  betadine/w/ enough sugar to make a paste and put it on there.  Change daily.  Used frequently to heal hard to heal wounds in people and animals.

Betadine destroys delicate granulation tissue, as does hygeol. The doctors are still back in the dark ages when it comes to wound care, but modern research has proven both these treatments are harmful rather than helpful.

No one uses sugar anymore in human wound care, because it's been proven ineffective.

i have doggleggs for him and it made it worse. and Jenni <3 XD i got the Vetericyn hydrogel yesterday. and that was the first treatment ill post pictures on this thred every day to show the progress. but im amazed as how much skin has alredy started
