Clean and simple seems to be more professional and classy. The most classy seem to stick to two colors. It looks more tailored.

Dog1 list of things you can do to make your handler not look like a geek in the ring.
First of all the judge really looks at the dog. VA dogs in Germany are shown with handlers wearing jeans. If you need a suit to look like a handler, you may look like a geek in a suit. Score less for looking like a geek handler dressed like a geek or geek handler dressed like they should know what they are doing. Not sure which one is worse.
If you wear simple clothes and do a good job. You are good. If you wear plain clothes and do a geek job,,,you have an excuse. (This works for me)
It's common for the progeny to wear the suit from the father. If your dog has a popular father, one that presented a group previously, you may have a source for appropriate gear.
Suits from other kennels. If you imported your dog or the breeder has a kennel, they may have suits available from their kennel.
Suits from Famous dogs. Wouldn't your handler look cool in a Yasko Farbenspiel suit? Fred Lanting has a Quenn suit from when he handled a Quenn progeny at the German Sieger Show. He can go anywhere with that suit.
Suits from Sponsors. Some dog food manufacturers have promotional suits, maybe you can score a suit from your food distributor.
Your own suit. Showing something from your kennel. Get a jacket and get something put on it.

So is that a no on the boxing warmups?
Here are the things I have so far, but if anyone does have a company that does have the "normal style" let me know. I REALLY wish I could get another Royal Canin Tracksuit in Large. If anyone has one, I would buy it.
A.
B. (these are narrow at the bottom with a zipper)
C. (top)
(bottom)
Any opinions on these suits OR anyone have ANY RECOMMENDATIONS on where to look?????

That 2-piece looks just fine.
I think it will work well for you.....C & D. It is interchangeable, jacket can be taken off if it's too warm.....simple black t-shirt underneath...*logo or kennel name optional*.

Windy, I am going to try very hard to make this show as there are a couple of males I want to see.
I like the choices you have made for your colors and suit. Put your kennel name on the suit.
Follow the advice Robin has given. They have found a way to be sucessful in the U.S. and you can't go wrong following that advice.

Okay, THANKS EVERYONE! I went with the suggested suit or as close to it as company could get. My personal suit is from Brazil, but everyone else has this one. So yippie. Now all I have left to do is to put the new logo on, but it only takes me about 1 hour per garment to embroider them so I can nail that out in one day (hoping there are not horrible hangups on the loop).
Rik,
I hope to see you there. I will be at the white Sprinter with Texas plates or with the Austin Schutzhund Club (the Graysons). You already know my club colors :-)
