China always does that,..that is unless they do it themselves. I am sure that China is upset that the control over the Libya 's oil is not going to be China's.

About 32 percent of Libya's oil goes to Italy, 14 percent to Germany, 10 percent to
France and China and 5 percent to the United States.
This is going to change or different people will make money on it now or it is necessary that the same people will make money. Who knows. But it is over oil and not over humanitarian help to rebels seeking freedom. That notion is really funny.
Follow the money and you'll get your answer.
Iran was too tough nut to crack thus we did not get involved there and the output of oil was most stable if current government there was preserved, but Libya is easy target since Qaddafi is weak and the situation is really unstable and who knows "what will happen next there" factor is too iffy and thus West wants to stabilize it there to their benefit.
It is about control of "real estate" and all what comes with it.
That is what I think.

And why do we care? I don't care if one muslim is killing other muslims. As soon as they are "free" they will turn on us and continue their regularly scheduled programming of making us submit to islam or die. Why didn't we care when the people of Iran begged for help?
