Can we work on this together? Im willing to go and get the dog but its 4.5 hours for me. I dont want to make the drive only to find someone else got him out. I sent you an email (did you get it) and have since talked to the shelter directly. Shelter states the dog is being housed alone and has kennel cough and some staples for (injury ?).

Can you post and let me know if someone goes today so I wont go tomorrow.

See, I have backed out because of the mess. I would rather you do it, as my friend and I do not know what is needed and no communication after the first posting. Very important things have come up in my friend's life that makes life difficult right now in addition.

I am trying to monitor posts on 3 boards and my e-mail, and talk to other rescue people. Please forgive me if I don't reply quickly enough. Working with LA is turning out to be something of a nightmare. I keep getting put on long holds and then the line goes dead.

After almost two weeks of trying to get this dog out, Im going to move on. Im sorry if you took my post as if I was complaing, It wasnt meant that way. Just a heads up. If your on hold for more than 5 min to talk to the shelter, your automatically disconnected. When you get a rep from the call center advise them that youve called several times and are driving a long way to get the dog. Thats why I posted the info I received on the dog here. I hope you get him out and good luck.

I want to know what PUKES in Los Angeles keep on pumping out litter after litter, only to crowd the damn DOG POUND with really nicely bred animals. It just doesn't matter how good the dogs are; you flood the market, and they have no value, either monetarily or intrinsically.

People have GOT to back off on the breeding, greedy bastards. Unbelievable agony being caused.
