Our adopted dog started with "Raven" when she was dumped at a shelter at 6 months of age. When she was adopted shortly thereafter, her adopters named her "Spork." When we adopted her at 10 months of age, we changed her name to "Gidget." She has never had any issues with her name.
Why not just let the buyers decide what to do?

For some reason I can't see page two? anywho I realized the fatal flaw with having two dogs with the same name would come when referencing the dogs,,,,,and don't say name it Junior I pretty sure thats there arch rival! I'm baffled as to what to do..shes a big doe eyed snow colored dog so I don't think Whiskey would fit her
