How long does it take to get an OFA back ?? Once they accept the films will they post it on there website before mailing back there final report ?

I am in the process of purchasing and importing a female that is now 8 months old.
I have a copy of her x-rays taken when she was 6 months old that I have attached to this post.
Would someone here be kind enough to comment on them.
I realize that it is impossible to predict how OFA would evaluate them when she is 24 months but just looking for your best guess.

Mr. Ready, O.F.A. will give you an evaulation now that is a fairly good prediction of the outcome at twenty-four (24) months of age. They can and do evaluate radiographs taken as early as four (4) months of age; but of course the greater the age, the better the prediction of the final adult grade.
They also state a better prediction based upon their initial findings. In other words; a very early preliminary finding of "good" has a better chance of staying that way than does a very early preliminary finding of "fair". "Fair" is of course a passing score, but it is just above the failure stated as borderline dysplasie. So, it has a small chance of drifting that way as the puppyt matures.
Me? I think this puppy will fare just fine and receive a rating of O.F.A. "good" or S.V. "a" Normal when it is of the appropriate age.
