I understand about the misconception with workingline GSDs being considered JYDs or Killers.
I was visiting a friend the other night and we were sitting in his garage. It was dark already and I had my 3 year old male in the shadows right outside the garage. I had him platz and he never moved.
My friend's grown nephew (a very large man, at that) came outside and when walking past my dog, who was being very quiet and pretty uninterested in the nephew, spotted my boy. He about jumped out of his skin, and tripped all over himself jumping away... I almost laughed but it would have been rude ;-) I promised him he was safe and my dog wouldn't move.
I just started a new album tonight on my FB page featuring my dogs with my kids "Working Dogs & Kids" :-D

We don't mind action shots you know, blurry pictures are okay too...Shows how faaast they are hehe... Keep them coming and again, I'm proud for you for raising your dogs right.

A strong pedigree of clearheaded dogs is good to have, but equally important is a clearheaded owner ;-)

Best Wishes!
Stacy

Thank you Ruger!

It's just makes me so proud of both my dogs, especially the female who can be so sharp on the field, yet so gentle out in public and I coudn't be more pleased with the young male, even with all the small and other dogs running around in close proximity he never turned a hair!

It's that confident temperment that I love in my dogs!
