I don't understand. What exactely do you want to know? Kennel is still alive and you can have some information here www.bergerallemandhurlevent.com. Obelix was one of their champ dog and was also excellent stud. With "légendaire vanova", "du val des hurles vent" + "légende de chante vent" (family) were the pillars of french working line dogs. Ring's vice champion 2009 has "du val des hurles vent" & "légende de chante vent" in his ped.

I  met Daniel at a French Ring trial back in the late 90's and found him to be not only a very nice man but probably the most knowledgeable French Ring GSD person I have ever met (with respect to Serge Ocard, RIP).  He has been raised with German Shepherds since his father came home with one from WWII.  He has a very interesting philosophy on the German Shepherd as well as unique training techniques and his kennel is impeccable.

Ladies you may want to stop reading at this point......................I asked him directly why he felt the quality of GSD in French Ring had declined over the years to which he replied,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,women.  His explanation was that the "beauty" of the GSD had attracted many women to the breed as owners and breeders.  This began a popularity that emphasized the looks of the dog rather than the working temperament.  Fifty years ago plus, the sport of French Ring was almost dominated by German Shepherds but as time went on the emphasis has been placed on extreme jumping, endurance and bite work that not only requires very fast entries, but very fast releases and re-attacks.  The low threshold and athleticism of the Malinois have propelled it to the forefront of the sport but it does not surprise me that one of Daniel's dogs has worked it's way to the top of the sport.  Good man, good dogs.

No one told Stella, she pulled off a very respectable 385, to win
the 2009 FR Championship. Lady's if you hear anyone say you
can't win at Ringsport dont beleave them. Your dog does this
for you because he loves you.

So,
Daniel Berneuil is the kennels owner?
And that link is the kennels website?

My French is no help as I speak none.

Anyway I like the dogs and my bitch carries some of the bloodline and I was curious hoping to find a website.

Thanks Phil.
