Chances are good that you will run into snow on I-40 Wednesday, probably Thursday, but northern routes may have blizzard conditions. You might like to look at this forecast map:

Thanks for the weather link Hodie. I bookmarked it on my I-Phone. Great maps!
No way the rig I am driving is going anywhere when driving conditions are anything short of darned good. Snow is OUT.
I have a tiny ceramic heater and 100' of power cord, should I have to stop and camp somewhere (just in case there is an electrical outlet) Sleeping bag in lieu of motels. Thought about a 6 x 12' U-Haul trailer instead of my dog trailer, holds more stuff, but they want $925. one way! :-O

I plan to come through Lexington, stay near there for the first night.
Just not sure WHAT night yet, but it won't be Christmas day.
