Krazy Bout K9s

by Krazy Bout K9s on 20 December 2009 - 00:12

Thanks Hodie and Zwinger,
Hodie, the loss of my right eye has not changed a bit...still can't use it, the jaw fractures are slowly healing, can chew hamburger now. No REAL steak yet though, my mouth waters for it...my leg is getting better...

I am driving now, but backroads, not in town and very carefully and not at night. Still not "allowed" to by the doctors however...LOL....

I had a friend of mine drive me to Twin Falls, ID, 5 1/2 hours one way, then home, got home at 1am....yesterday to deliver the border patrol/drug dog, Mali girl...damn I cried on that one.

Still can't work, applied for SSDI, which is really embarrassing but I have to do something...have to feed all these dogs...lol...
I am not supposed to be taking any more in, but I just can't say no to some of them, unlike the damn breeders that are producing them...
Thanks Hodie and Zwinger for all you are trying to do also. Hodie I will send you a clipper and blade, send me your address. See your other post...

 Steph,

I am sorry to hear your injuries are so slow to heal, especially your sight. Do take care of you. And you may have to make the decision to take care of you ONLY, despite how much you want to take care of the dogs. You must apply for SSDI and not feel badly about it one bit. I would, if I were only eligible as my injury also prevents me from gainful employment and things have come to a real head financially. Hopefully the economy will improve soon.

I will send you a PM with my address. I will send the clippers back to you and pay the postage too. Thanks for the loan.

In the meantime, please, take care of you!!

Merry Christmas to all of you also...and thanks for all the support. I am just having another of my BITCHING DAYS, there are times that things are really getting me riled up, like not being able to help these dogs, that I  am having to turn away.

Farah,
Karen is trying to keep me on the straight and narrow, since my memory is still kinda short and VERY forgetful, since my accident...
I have thankfully not received any of your dogs into rescue. As we are only about 3 1/2 hours apart, that is truly amazing.
I am truly amazed that Ramona Helmer/Sapphire GSD's can even sell any dogs with her bad attitude on the phone. A little customer service goes along ways in any business. Very nice dog in your Avatar BTW...

Moons, yes I know, sorry......
Take care all, this too will pass....ROFL...
AM I GETTING JUST A BIT CRAAAAZZZZZYYYYY??????

Oh yeh, Hodie,
The weather is warm and a balmy 45 degrees here. No snow. We had a nice Chinook wind that warmed everything up, feels like spring here...wish we had some snow. It is sooooo pretty and white and clean....ROFL...

Steph,

OK, thank you. But as for the weather, my hobby is meteorology and depending on exactly where you are in Montana, Monday or so you should see the weather changing, for the worst. We are expecting a storm and very cold temps mid week. UGH! Hopefully, it won't be as bad as about 10 days ago when the temps here were about -25. I cannot stand that, and the wind was painful.

Southwestern Montana, Hamilton to be exact and one hour south of Missoula. I am in the banana belt here, the weather seems to go around me always....I hope it gets colder, I am tired of all the mud the dogs are bringing into the house....that means I have to vacuum and wash floors more often...lol...

hello, if you can give details about the female i might be able to help place her. I have someone looking for 1) a detection quality dog and 2) a family looking for a good, active family partner.

Housebroken, health, activity level, any bad habits, any training, social?, dog friendly?, good with kids, other animals?,..stays in yard, no diggin, no screaming, no fence jumping... endless things to know.

thanks,

cindy

Hi Cindy,
She has been jumping a 3 1/2 foot fence because she is bored. No cats, gets along with his son's male GSD. Older guy can't give her the attention she needs. DOB 3-14-05, OFA good, Had training when younger. Not much done since, loves kids. Housebroke, active, typical bitch female with other females...NO!!!!
She did have some bite/rag work when she was younger.
Needs an active family or a job to do...
Basically will learn anything if taught...
What happens to a GSD, when one leaves it in the backyard with no attention...there is your answer....
She will come around, I just don't have the time or energy or room right now to retrain her and adopt her out...
Call me if you have any more questions...he is going to bring her to the pound if I can't get her out pretty soon. He had an elderly gentleman that got along great with her and was going to keep her, but then found out he had terminal illness and had to go to California and couldn't take the dog with him.
