The thread i was referring to was started by Prager, titled In a Defense of a dumb dog. He claimed muzzles were worn by police dogs in the UK. If protesters become destructive they deserve all they get!!

Once people start destroying property it is no longer a protest.
During some of the anti-war protests in the US. authorities new very well how to antagonize the crowd for the purpose of turning it into a riot.
This was common practice to end a protest, and for authorities to remove the gloves.
Just remember to have a gloves, a flak vest and a gas mask.........and dont forget to bring your own pepper spray...:)

I do not agree that people who feel strongly that corporate interests and policy myopia are causing severe harm to future generations -- and who give up their time and energy to bravely protest this -- should be bitten by police dogs.
In the US South during the 60s, police often sent their dogs after peaceful black and black sympathizing protestors. Fortunately, when the TV cameras were rolling, they usually kept them on lead. That is, they knew it was wrong.
In this situation, the police seemed even more insensitive than racist white cops in the US segregated south.
As do some of you, unless I misuderstand you.
