My dogs like Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul. They are doing well with it, and its a Diamond product.
Taste of the Wild is also a Diamond Product and I know of many dogs that are doing will on that feed also.

i feed this food to my pitbull.  needs the high calorie.  when this was fed exclusively, it was a bit rich.  since is given 2 cups extreem athlete and one cup raw.  now does fine.  the other two, hearders get three cups kirkland and one cup raw.  kirkland also made by diamond.  the recalls were a scare for sure.  a company under that much scrutiny has to make things right for sure.  hopefully there own worst evaluator.  i was under the impression that the recalls were only of the canned variety.  any one know otherwise?

Thanks for all the great input. We are currently feeding Canidae and our dogs are doing decent but not great by any means. Its was fine for the last 6 or 7 months that we've been feeding but all of a sudden loose stools, poor coats, lower energy and losing weight. I brought them all into the vet at least 2 times each before I realized it could be the food.  I think I will go back to Eagle Pack like my breeder recommended all along.  The trainer said he feeds this to all his own breeding dogs as well as boarding and dogs in for training and couldn't be more pleased with the food or the price.  But not sure we want to risk the same problem with this as canidae.

LOL Ronnie!!!  Maybe that's *why* they're rich... their dogs poop solid gold nuggets?

Tell me again exactly which brand of food that is?  Doesn't matter how much it costs, the profit from those gold nuggets must be huge!

I feed this to one of my dogs(hunting Lab). He does very well on it. I've tried others like TWO & Solid Gold. I had to feed him 5-7 cups PER DAY!!! to keep him from loosing weight & muscle. Granted with the higher protien & fat is may be too rich for a lot of(nonworking) dogs, but he thrives on it. I feed my GSDs TOTW & they all do great on that.
