Yes, the trees are starting to bud and everything is green.  I've been wearing summer clothes the past couple of days, major bonus!  I'm used to long johns well into April .  So, I got some pics from YR from last summer showing how things will look in just a few short weeks.  Her front yard, part of the back yard and the front porch with Laredo peeking out.

Well, we had quite an adventure today! On our way to Lufkin to visit another member of this board, we broke down and had to wait two hours for a tow truck.  Luckily I was able to steer to the side of the highway before coming to a complete stop.  Cell reception was spotty so many calls had to be done in three and four parts.  Some people stopped to help but Drake, the protector, scared them enough that they stayed away from the car.  One guy came strolling up to the window and almost jumped out of his skin when Drake came to the window and growled low and deep to warn him away!    So, needless to say, our visit has been postponed, but we'll start out again when the car is fixed.  I believe it's the fuel pump but we'll see tomorrow.

I sure hope it isn't the fuel pump!  I had a Ford Focus years ago and it did the same thing.  Four hours away from home and it dies on me when I pull into the hotel!   What a nightmare...

Oh well, it'll give you an excuse to enjoy the beautiful Southern weather for a little longer! LOL  Best of luck and keep having fun :D

A little fuel pump won't stop us!  Talked to the garage this morning and they probably won't even get to it today, I'm 8th in line.  Oh well, at least I'm in good company, safe and sound here.  I knew to expect some adventure on this trip, just glad it wasn't in the middle of the night on a lonely stretch in the middle of nowhere!  I also know I won't get ripped off because YR knows the garage and my daughter is one of the best diagnosticians in PA.  I'll have her talk to them when they make a determination.  Being married to a mechanic for over 30 years should have taught me something but I didn't bother with cars because I didn't have to.   Give me anything in a house to fix, no problem, a car is another matter.  I can check the oil, put gas in the tank and change a tire, period!  Thanks for the offer Domenic, AAA couldn't even figure out where we were, they dispatched at least 3 different tows and we ended up finding one on our own anyway, someone who can follow directions, a woman!

While my car was broken and in the shop, here's how YR spent her time, tormenting my poor baby boy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUTCfBVeVes
