This thread kinda reminds me of a reality show I saw a few months ago called "When Good Pets Go Bad" If you ever see it on tv, watch it. They should call it, "When Stupid People Get Whats Coming To Them"!

I've seen a couple of episodes of Survivorman. Sorry, but I have to agree that he's a fake. Come on, folks! If there's no crew, and he says there aren't, I'd like to know how he moves the camera to follow his movements when he's doing something. ALso, if the goal is to show us how to survive, then it would stand to reason that you wouldn't waste a lot of energy walking around uselessly. I'm talking about those scenes where the camera pans to follow him as he walks hundreds of feet from where he's set the camera, in search of food, or shelter, or whatever. There's a boatload of extra walking around to retrieve the camera for the next shot. Too, if he only has one camera, then in lieu of food and necessities, he must carry lots of extra batteries. That's got to waste a lot of energy, too. And then there's the bugs...Jeez, there's lots to eat out there, if you know what's edible in your neck of the woods.

never heard of Survivorman....but your sentiments sounds like the same kind of sentiments I used to hear about Steve Irwin...but I always thought he was cool.
