My Dog does not have a problem with different foods or kibbles he is allergic to MEAT protein and in the Hypo Allergenic Royal Canin there is no MEAT protein , look it up, and it works perfectly okay it took as i said nearly four months of tests and a good 1000 dollars to find out
all Nicole has to do is to get a kibble which does not contain any meat protein of any kind, meaning 'hypo allergenic' and the food to ask the Vet for is 'Royal Canin Hypo Allergnic DR21'
try it for a week or so but i do not think she will, but it will be at the cost of her dog,
but to keep trying kibbles which contain different kinds of Meat protein is time wasting for the dogs sake, not to his benifit of its health and to my mind really stupid
if you get a situation like this you go the opposite way if there is a allergy not feed this ot that meat protein
if it does not work there still is no harm to the Dog, but i will bet a hundred dollars that it does help the dog, but then what do the Vets know over here in Belgium know about Dogs or us owners

There is another Non Meat Hypoallerginic Food----Purina HA(prescription) My dog has severe IBD/SIBO causing chronic diarrhoea and weight loss. Belive me I have tried every food under the sun, and this food is the only one he can tolerate. It has cost us over £3000 so far in tests/biopsies and the Purina food is expensive, but if it helps to keep him well, then IMO its worth the cost. Even if the ingredients are yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, there are several brands of Hypo Allergenic food out there, sold by Vets only
But please tell me does your one contain MEAT Proteins, i would bet a Thousand Pounds that it does not
I agree the contents of the food is not too my liking but as i said above post it works for the Dog so that is all that counts,
Nicole will find out the same if she trys it, but i really think we are wasting our time trying to give good advice
I repeat it is a total waste of time trying different brands with different meat proteins in it to see if one works
Only those who have gone through this problem along with Qualified Vets can really give sound advice on this thread not willy nilly advice its the Dog who is suffering and going through all these trials given out of changing meat proteins
GIve ONE brand that does not contain Meat Protein and find out right away if this is the problem it is the only Logic way to go
What ever Nicole does i hope she will let us all know what the results are

The Purina HA contains NO MEAT PROTEIN. The protein content is, of all things SOYA, but it is Hydrolyzed into very small molecules so that it wont incite an immune response. My dog has been on it for 10months now and I will continue to use it unless he suddenly has a reaction to it, which is unlikely but not impossible.
If he did react to it, then I would try the Royal Canin Hypo or the Hills, both prescription. The commercial diets available in the shops labelled Hypoallergenic are not truly so, I am afraid. They may be suitable for mild cases, but not severe. IMO

The Contents of the kibble you use from Purina is the same as Royal Canin Hypo Allergenic, Hydrolzed Soya
I had not see what was in the food you feed but i knew it would not contain Meat Proteins
As i said i tried the Dog on a half and half of the Hypo diet and added just a third of a low protein kibble just to see if he had grown out of his allergy
Within two days his Poop had gone soft and would have got worse so that experiement ended right away
Back on 100% RC Hypo diet, after two feeds his Poop was firm again
They just cannot tolerate Meat Protein and that is it
Over here in Belgium you can only buy Hypo allergenc foods it from a Vet,
I do and would never feed any Dog on kibble you can buy in any store the qualily is just not inside the Bags, you gets what you pays for in this world nothing is free only good advice
But everyone must choose there own path regards there Dogs welfare, But i bet 5,000 dollars it will work with Nicoles Dog if she deems to try it

Nicole I had the same problem. I over 2,000 on a dog with chronic diarrhea. I went to an alternative med vet and she told give her ochra pepcin or marshmellow pills. 3 pills 3 times a day. She gained weight, stopped having the squirts.Life changed for her, she now only takes 3 marshmellow pills once a day, only if she eats table scraps. Good luck !

Two Moons,
as we say over here you are taking the Pssss
If you think my posts are funny, i can assure you they are not, and given with good intent, but then a lot of you folk like you over there think you are the only ones who know anything ,and about everything
Proof is in the pudding If the lady gives it one week on a Hypo Allergenic Dog Kibble from her Vet, and it does not improve to the point of clearing up the Dogs problem then i will gladly pay for the Dogs food she buys from her Vet
my thoughts are for the Dog only not the person who posted it, but i do know the worry she has, it is not very pleasant at all to see one of your Dogs like this and i hope i never get another Dog with the same problem, but at least now after all the time and money spent on finding a solution i will have a good idea of how to stop it
