Breeder Prejudiced and disrespectful towards my sister because she rents - Page 2

Breeders have to make decisions about who will get their dogs given a very short time to evaluate a potential home as well as very little information. 

From experience I know there is not a worse feeling than worrying a pup you've brought into the world is not in a good place or with good people.  Apparently that breeder has had a bad experience they don't wish to repeat.  Or perhaps they are basing their decision not to sell on something other than rent vs own, but are using the rental situation as an excuse?  Seems bizarre one would go through the entire process to be shot down at the end for something that should have been a given...yes it's ok you don't own your home or not.

I sell to renters myself, but prefer that people own their homes...heck with this economy owning your home doesn't mean you won't move any fewer times than someone who rents.  What's the foreclosure rate these days?  For me it's the whole impression I make a final decision about.

I'm sure your sister will find a more understanding breeding now.  Funny thing, I had more money in my pocket (easy access for the dogs) when I rented.  They still have everything they want and need, just harder as home owner.  There are irresponsible renters and there are irresponsible homeowners.  A deed versus a lease doesn't make someone a better dog owner and a deed doesn't equal responsibility.  Sounds like you sister is very together, has a good landlord, and a great situation for a GSD.  I hope she gets the dog she deserves.  Just my 2 cents.

Now Vickie!!!  How could you say such a thing!!  Abhay's sister is feeling HORRIBLE over being denied the GSD she had dreamed about and saved for so long to get.  And here you are making FUN of the poor girl!!!  Shame on you, I think you should GIVE one of your puppies to Abhay's poor denied sister out of the goodness of your heart and to make up for your horrible stories here about how Abhay is just telling a JOKE!!!!

I want to thank each and every one of you for the kindness you have shown my lil sis, Gertrude.  Since this ordeal, Gertrude has suffered from low self esteem and lost most of her confidence.  Our family is so concerned as lil Gertrude can go "emo" on us in a heartbeat.  I want to thank all the fine sellers who PM'd with their pups for sale.  Lil Gertrude was just joyous looking at all the fine offers.  What really did the trick, was when Kind Vickie offered the fine Asko vd Lutter boy to lil Gertrude as a gift.   Lil Gertrude just fell down and wept tears of Joy!!

Dearest Vickie,  I will be out to pick up the Asko vd Lutter boy, ASAP.   If its not too much trouble, mighten I take a soak in the infamous Hot Tub with the Suction issue??

LOL!!  Or did lil Gertrude weep because she knew you were going to "dog-jack" her when that Asko boy got there!!  LOL!!  I will also throw in one of my Karn Fegelhof grand pups, Olix Karthago great grands and Wumm Kaisersaul greatgrand kids to help her out.  I know who is going to end up with that Asko boy!!  LOL!!  It feels good to bless others......LoL!!

The hot tub is open for business!  Remember there are no clothes allowed in the hot tub and I think I am going to enjoy the lookie!  I have seen your pic before, Abhay!  Woo Wee!!
