Nice job, paranshep. See what I'm talking about, smartguy? Fault judging is all some here know how to do.

I am very frustrated at the moment because of stupid technology. Long story short the first picture is on an incline and this is on flat ground. Thank you all for your comments.

Smartguy, although that is a better picture than the first one, still you need to get right down on the dog's level to get a really good shot. Sometimes this means putting the dog up on a table to stack it.
Her problems can be summed up in a couple of words: lack of angulation. This is very common in working line dogs. Both her upper arm and her stifle are too short, and lacking in angulation. This will give her a short, choppy stride, and may cause her to break down sooner than a better angulated dog, because her upright stance doesn't absorb the shock of jumping as well. On the other hand, you may get many years of good service from her. It all depends....
I like her topline. I think her croup is very nice: not too steep, and nice and long. (It looks better in this photo than the previous one.) She has nice high withers, too, and, unlike most showline dogs, NO ROACH!!
And I really don't know how someone can say her eye isn't dark enough from such a small photo... I don't see anything wrong with her head or expression.

Blitzen and Sunsilver
Thank you very much for all your comments. Over all Im learning alot about conformation and how important it is to try to achieve the (GOLDEN MIDDLE). As far as her eyes go she was staring into the sun. I have eyes so dark that they look black but when i stare into the sun they look light brown.
Animules
She was on a small slope up and i had to stare hard to see it. There was no photo shop.
Parenshep
Thank you for your observations. I agree that pedigree means nothing. that is why i posted the pic because the pedigree is not important in this case.
I am going to post my male to get your oppinions on his flaws and strengths

No offense to the new people on the borad, but if I have not read a few of your posts, and you don't seem to know anything about dogs, I don't even read the posts. Just a hint to smart guy. Although I do see what paran shep is talking about wait till eichenluft, or sillbersee r some one else goes through a critique. Molly ( eichenluft) gives great structured critiques, and even though I cannot say I can prove that she is as good as a judge, i can say that I listen to what she says about dogs on here.
As far as you dog, I don't like the pasterns, or the croup . I think the flash messed the eyes up, and the back has a slight dip, like many non roached dogs. What do you prefer? I would round out the croup and shorten the pasterns. She can darken a saddle, and flatten a roach. I think her tail is fine but as I say with all my posts, I am a novice virtul breeder, who has read many critiques.

If your a novice I am a SPEC of sand. I take everything i am told for what it is worth and just try to learn untill I can get a mentor or someone to train me in the ways of the GSD!! I am very impressed with molly and her dogs and Iwould love to meet her one day. I just moved to VA Beach two days ago so I will get there.

I think it's possible to critique a dog in a positive way, paranshep. The SV judges do it all the time. Instead of comments like -"The croup and tail set on this dog are awful", couldn't you have said have said something like- I'd like to see a better croup and tail set and give you reasoning why? The rest of your critique is equally as meanspirited and negative as is your second post above. Just had to trash her again and call the quality of her parents into question, didn't you? What was the purpose of that?

hey PARENSHEP
I was fine the first time you gave your oppinion on my dog in a rude way because I figured YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER must not have given you a hug thus you being a dick. You know just like how my bitch is so terrible because her mother and father were so bad in conformation. Now that you have done it twice I know your just an asshole. Sorry if im not very tactfull.
