Zwinger means kennel, it is not a name.

Well, that is the link to the search page anyway. You can search by hundename, zwinger, or SZ-nummer if you know it.

I am currently selling this dog for a friend in Germany. The dogs hips and elbows were done through the same vet that does the SV scoring I was told, a vet in Giessen <sp?). They were submitted through the longhair club and certified through them. I have the paperwork reflecting that, which states fast-normal/normal. They can be sent through the SV, with the same result, as it is the exact same man that does them. The SV will still cert the hips/elbows with the longhair, it's a breeding disqualification but has nothing to do with the hip/elbow cert's to the very best of my knowledge. I entered the pedigree in to have something visible on the dog as he was not entered. A few days after I entered the pedigree I learned it was through the longhair and not the SV but was assured it was not a problem since it is the same man. To clear up any confusion since it was already entered I asked him to go ahead and send them through the SV.
He's a nice family dog being sold as a pet. Hope this clears up any questions.

I never said I saw his specific HD rating on the list, I said I saw and copied it from under his picture. That link is how you search the HD ratings through SV.
Type the kennel name in the box. Select the drop down menu right next to the box and select zwinger. That will give you a list of dogs from that kennel that have HD ratings recorded there.

Here, hopefully this link will work, it's the translated web page to search the SV-HD database.

Hey Nate:
When are you guys going to move from the barn to the field? I,d love to get axel back down there for a bite and show you my new puppy.

Hey Bob,
I think we are planning on getting back outside this week. The barn is great for the really bad winter days, but it's always better to get out on the open.
Look forward to seeing you again. Make jeff come too! :)

Thanks Animules Since the poster above made it a little clearer that is why it could not be found in the SV search....Here in Dallas I know several german people who have shepherds and I ask them to look at this dog as he is awesome and I like the coated dog....THey went to the search and they know how,,,I do not,,,and they said they could not find him listed in any SV listing,,,so that is all I needed to know,,,,
Thanks to Grimmdog for explaining and will be glad to learn if his SV is completed,,,,,Hips are the only think I am interested in being ok,,,,,,the HD in this breed can be a mean detriment to a family pet and can only bring heart ache if you dont know when you purchase any shepherd ......and get a certification thru the SV or the OFA...
I think we all need to learn how to look up all these things on the german sites,,,It is greek to me since I do not read german
