Don't drink from hotels glasses, EVER! - Page 2

I defintely remember reading (while at a hotel in DC) an aritcle about a maid who "did not belive in cleaning supplies" and cleaned the rooms with hot water and "elbow grease".  This article was extolling her virtues. She worked at an upscale hotel in Rossyln, closest one right up the hill from the metro, can't remember its name - I was staying at the Courtyard at the time further up the hill)  I about gagged.  10% Chlorox for me, thank you very much.

Also don't forget to check for bedbugs nowadays.....we are talking about upscale hotels in big cities, not just Motel 6 :)
