There are some dogs nominated missing from your list. A one page print out of each dog's 4 generation pedigree should be what you need. Take a highliter and mark the common dogs and note how many time they appear in pedigrees. This should reveal which ones are more influential.

Here's the list and these dogs cover a few generations. Look at the 4 generation pedigrees and pick out the patterns. For instance, Xin is a Tell son who is Frei's father. We could be seeing the beginning of the pattern with Tell.

I'm halfway through the list and am confirming my initial research was accurate. There really are just two. Some dogs I had overlooked are coming into view.
