UPDATE:

Nala is home! The operated eye has fluid just pouring out of it, which is great. Better too much than too little.

Now she just has to heal up OK. If all goes well, the other eye can be operated on in 2-4 weeks.

susanandthek9s, thanks for the update. I was thinking she would be to busy to come on here with a dog just out of surgery and her son. So gald to know surgery went off without a hitch.

Hi everyone..

We are glad to have `nala homw with us. she's been happy to be home..


She's doing good, she does hate the cone and has been upset at us since she has been home. But, over all her eye is staying wet now when she eats and chews on her bones.

total coast $900.00 even. no extra for meds, or cone. in 2 weeks we go to get the stitches taken out. and in 4 weeks  the cone can come off. But, by then we'll be getting ready to do the left eye.

poor Nala.. the cone is going to be close to 2 months.. It's so worth it in the end..

LOL, YES< Nala needs training bad.. She is very good with us, but when people come over she wont stop welcoming them by jumping on them near there face. 

We know when she likes someone, and very much can tell when she don't.  i'd love to tell her to sit and stay. and not move till told.

she is a great watch dog.....LOL< people ring our door bell and when we open the door they jump back!!

she is not to found of men at the door...... She shows her teeth.

and it would be great if mikala could walk her, with out being dragged around......LOL
  she pulled Mikala across the driveway once, running after a dog close by. people pick up there little dogs when they see her. LOL.......

nala is funny.. But, she has the control, in so many ways..
she's still our baby..
