LOL- who should I congratulate before results are even posted? How silly. As for my "dig" as you call it- I am derisive toward those who would use a dog's success to breed it over and over to sell those big money pups. Do all exhibitors do this? No. Do some? Ohhhh, yes and you are naive if you think otherwise.

Now that that's out of my system.

The female results are in! Unfortunately I missed some of the females, including Siegerin Eliza vom Kuckucksland, so I look forward to seeing the videos. Of the females I got the chance to see I felt performed well in the performance tests included VA2 Nikola vom Wustenberger-Land, VA3 Teela von Schneiden Fels, V6 Uschigardens Hannie, and V8 Yule Mittelwest.  It is very pleasing to see so many American bred dogs, and hopefully next year we will see a larger and more successful class.  Especially notable in the VA group is B.H.O.T. VA3 Teela, whose parents are both also Schneiden Fels dogs. What an accomplishment!

Congratulation Robin and Carlos on Cuervo von Huerta Hof going VA. We know how hard you both have worked with your dogs and helping others too. Well deserved.

Congratulations to all the competitors.  I am in awe of all that it takes to get those dogs to the level that they are.  A lot of hard work goes into each and every dog and for that each owner/handler deserves great respect.  I can't imagine how hard it must be to put

Trouble is many of these dogs do not have the opporunity to have been someonne's pet an companion. I haave shown my boys in several Sieger Shows to mid-pack V ratings. Their performance tests have always be "pronounced" and praisworthy.

Big congrats to my friends Mary and Rob on taking VA1 with Siegerin Liza vom Kuckucksland, lotsa work that paid off.  Liza is a very nice bitch with exceptional temperament and obvious beautiful structure.  I was very disappointed in in the rating of VA1 going to a Mittelwest dog that not only was absolutely out of condition but was continually going after other males in the ring during the showing of the Kennel Groups.  Not only did the owner have to take the dog away from the handler but had to leave the ring while lifting the dog off of his front end and shortening his breath for the duration of the stroll.  Of course it was going to happen again but this time the dog actually bit the owner and drew blood from his right hand.  If I remember correctly, a working competitor was severely criticized when his dog went after another on the podium at the National Championship.  What gives Johannes and Tim, when do the rules apply?

As far as the ring work goes, I have never seen a dog in poorer condition go VA1,,,ever.  Chest was heaving, gasping for air.  Ears were sinking, elbows tucked way in as physical stamina was taxed.  Hocks were actually touching when the dog was at rest in the ring.  Hind end was dragging as he moved around the last couple of circuits, so much so that the hocks looked like they were actually rubbing and the feet dragging.  I'd almost bet that his feet have grass stains on his toes.  Almost all of the other 8 VA dogs were still interested in chasing a ball afterwords and he wouldn't even look at one, completely exhausted.  Maybe they should run them through a BH routine like they used to do after an AD to check the drive and stamina.  Definitely an insult to anyone who understands drive and structure.  I guess dyeing dogs and breaking tails means nothing in USCA as long as you bring plenty entries to the show ring.  Ahhh, all the better to promote the JA huh Johannes?  And now USCA has control of the AWDF and it's IPO program,,,,,,,,can you say monopoly?  Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Sorry about the tardiness of the video but it'll have to wait until after my wife's agility seminar and of course the Blackhawk's game.

Congrats to Natalie Gonzales, who trained, trialed and titled Yule v Mittlewest herself. Also congratulations to Mary Dygert for Zahara v Temar's placing. Phil, No one filed charges regarding the dyeing and tail-breaking by a "major breeder," therefore there was no way for USA to address it. The evidence and proof was in the hands of individuals who declined to file charges.

Phil

What do you expect of dogs from a breeder who has a dog for sale who has bitten a couple people on her team one critically and writes this about the dog.

"xxxxxxx is a beautiful, very well bred male. xxxxxxx is a fun dog that loves to play. He has excellent home manners and is perfectly house trained. xxxxxxxx is a strong male and requires an experienced handler. "

Bottom line the dog is dangerous but they don't care it's all about the $$$$$.

Most of those dogs are not socialized they spent their whole life in a kennel, only get out to train or show. Titan has always been a nice dog, and gentle. But think being locked up all the time changes them.
