Hi Kel, I am glad all went well with Brix, yes he is a real trooper :) It is sometimes shocking to see the pins that stablize the area but they do not seem to bother when humans have them this way. Have a Happy New Year !!

Thanks Gucci, Cee, and Michele, and Happy New Year to you too!!!! His next appointment is on the 26th of this month. They will do x-ray's and if it's healed they will take him in to surgery to remove the pins/screws, but if it's not then he has 2 more weeks and then goes back again for x-ray's to see if it's healed. He should be close to a $4,000 dog by the time all of this is done. He is becoming a pistol, b/c he can't romp and play in his first snow!!!! He is a real trooper through all of this. I will even dare to say more sooo than I am ;-)

That is wonderful to hear! I bet he is being a handful. Who needs valium more him or you, what a real trip from beginning to the end.

Cee, I think we both could use some valium, but I could use a little extra ;-) The trip isn't over yet for him, but it is close. At least I'm praying it is!!! This is his first snow, and he should be out there romping and playing in the snow, like he wants to sooo badly. He does bury his head in the snow, lol!!! Soo I can see him digging in it rolling around when he is all back together again!!! I can't wait to be able to let him loose so he can do just that.
