Not to worry, Echo. I've had my share of beatings already. I made a joke last year about my female Dana desperately needing a new home because she was digging holes, messing in the house and barking all the time. Someone actually called Dana's breeder and reported me for verbally abusing my dog!!! I offered to GIVE Dana to anyone who thought she was really being "verbally" abused and guess what? None of the people who were concerned enough to report me offered to take her. Can you say HIPPO-CRITS? I believe I was also called a crook and a drunk during that incident. A drunk??? That's when I was on the waiting list for my kidney/pancreas transplant. How's that for passing judgement without knowing someone? Oh well, think I'll go breed my longcoats now.

I'll probably get raked over the coals again now just for good measure, but after survivng a double transplant, there isn't anything anyone here can say that would make one hill of beans difference to me.
But enough about me. Wouldn't want to steal Echo's thunder. LOL!!

Wow Nia, I didn't know you were a ghost! Based on the number of people that know you, I guess there's a lot of us that see spirits.
LOL. That's one of the funniest things I've read all day, and there's been some doozies! My goodness, I sure know a lot of ghosts. Too funny....

Triodegirl, I remember someone telling me I was 'kennel blind' when I first came on this site.
You think they might actually check to see if I was a breeder before they said that?
Me, who's never bred a single litter, or until now, has never had a female that wasn't spayed?
by EchoMeadows on 21 July 2007 - 18:07
Sunsilver, while that is truly SAD, it is not surprising, seems to be a "Tradition" around here. to JUMP to conclusions based on ones LIMITED knowledge of an individual.
triodegirl, is a little toughie I think, I like that she has spunk and can gut it out !! :-)

by Sunsilver on 21 July 2007 - 18:07
Anyone who's been through a double transplant, and still (I assume) is training and looking after dogs, has guts to spare in my opinion! (Please forgive the pun! Couldn't help myself...)
My best friend was a renal transplant, and I've nursed many dialysis patients in the community, so I have a pretty good idea of what Triodegirl's been through. You have NO IDEA until you've seen it first hand!

You will never learn. You don't love GSDs. If you did, you would have never started that BYB kennel, at the very least once you knew better you would have stopped.
