PDB USE AND CONTENT

You may not

1. have multiple identities--multiple user names will be banned.   
2. discuss religion or politics in any dog forum. Off-topic threads should only be started in the off-topic forum.
3. make racist, violent, sexual, sexually explicit or other inflammatory remarks in a post, including obscenities.
4. post images or links to images containing depictions of pornography, racism, violence, near adult content (including model and swimsuit images or sites)  or those of an adult nature are forbidden.
5. carry out personal attacks, be rude, disrespectful, insulting, threatening or abusive to any member of PDB.
6. post members’ private information including name, address, phone number, email address, emails, private messages or contact employers of members.
7. troll, flame, cyberstalk, bait or harass any member of PDB.
8. make statements based on rumor or hearsay. This includes breeder bashing, which we define as negative comments not based on direct personal experience with said breeder.
9. hijack a thread or go completely off topic--a little off topic in normal conversation is accepted.
10. flood the forums with topics for the purpose of blocking other topics or interfering with the forums.
11. advertise or spam in any post; this includes signature links.
12. re-post deleted or edited material, that has been edited or deleted by a moderator.
13. post material from PDB at another forum without express permission from PDB site administration or from the copyright owners. This includes pm's.
14. post any material on PBD from another forum without the express permission of that forum's site administration or copyright owners.
15. cross post between forums.
16. post copyrighted material without permission of the copyright holder.
17. ask us to pre-screen threads/posts.
18. make derogatory spelling or language comments, PDB is an international forum and therefore English is not the first language of all members.

Hunger For Justice:

What, now you change your area of expertise?  Now you are an expert in psychology too?  If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.  Seems the person pointing the finger here needs to do some self analysis.  Your opinions, hold no water.  You are probably just an unemployed lawyer/psychologist/law clerk or burger chef or worse.  Probably got fired because you have an OCD.  BTW, I know who and where you are!!! 

You claim I  need help because you chose to make an issue with me?  Who is twisted here? 


 

Too much drama

For what it's worth I see how the video represents abuse to some of you, simply because of the physical condition of Natalee. However I don't see where anything was done that a normally structured healthy dog should have had a problem with. I don't see how any of you can blame Ironhorse for being disatisfied with the dog he recieved and I don't see how anyone can defend the breeder in this matter. The fact of the matter is that all breeders buy and sell dogs with the intention of breeding and making money in one form or another whether it be s/l. w/l or the much despised byb. I don't know of anyone who enjoys cleaning up puppy poop, giving shots, de-worming or any of the other not so pleasant tasks that are a part of breeding dogs. And I certainly don't see anyone doing it consistently so they can give the puppies away. Get a new line of bs the old I don't do it for the money has run it's course.There's no shame in being paid to work at something and keeping dogs,breeding and whelping puppies does qualify as work, at least when you can't afford to hire someone to do it for you it does. Of course when your that successful I guess it would be considered a business wouldn't it and everyone knows a successful business doesn't exist to make money

I don't have to pick up puppy poop, I don't give shots, wormer is quite easy to administer, and I don't come close to breaking even on puppies. If I locked them in a small kennel and fed them Ol' Roy, perhaps I would enter the black. But feeding them properly, doing proactive things for their health, keeping their dam in optimum condition, and all the lifestyle changes that it all demands as well as the associated costs keep me firmly planted in the red. And I don't care a bit.  While recouping some of what's spent is nice, to breed occasionally and PROPERLY is certainly not a moneymaking endeavor. I do hate to shatter your image of the greedy breeder. Personally, I am greedy. I don't make any money (especially when I put them in good homes who can't afford them or let people make payments over an extended period) but I accomplish what I wanted, and I admit, I breed for myself. I breed because there aren't enough dogs out there anymore that I want to own. I'm both picky and greedy.

Now, in this case, I still fail to see where a single person excused the breeder or denied that the dog has a conformation flaw. We simply don't CARE at this point; all we care about is the poor dog being dragged back and forth, back and forth, at the hands of an angry person. Again, this is something that the "anti-breeders" just want to keep harping on because it's fun to villify breeders and pretend like someone did it on purpose. As to the statement that a normal dog could easily do what was being done to Natalee, while that may be true, how on Earth does that justify it? That's akin to saying that it's ok to push a paralyzed child out of their wheelchair and make them run. Well, a normal kid could do it, right? Makes no sense at all! That's exactly why I think it's cold and callous, the way Iron Horse treats Natalee in the video, just to make her look bad, as if anyone with an eye for dogs (had no idea this was such a hard trait to find!) couldn't look at that bitch for 5 seconds and see what Iron Horse dragged her around for 3 minutes to show.  Doesn't even pause when she falls, doesn't give her any kind of encouragment or feedback, nothing. Completely lacking any kind of compassion for the dog.

Compassion, now there is a word for you...Something that should be shown to animals and children alike...especially to those with special needs.

Gee, it must be close to Halloween.  Is that picture from your coloring book?  Was that your big new word for the day?  IF so, you should practice what you preach.  Compassion applies to both the dog and the owner here.  Who are you showing compassion for?  The seller?  Big mistake.  Think you better look up that big word again.  You continue to make yourself look like a fool with foolish postings.  Choose another thread and hack someone there.  Tell someone who cares.  I think you missed your last session with your shrink.  You are a glutton for punishment.  Give it up already.  Everyone already knows you are what you portray yourself to be.

Iron Horse, this is a dog forum. There are exceptions, but most of us couldn't really give a rat's @$$ about people who are, in our eyes, being unneccessarily cold, callous, and cruel to a dog. This is a general statement to explain the reaction you got, so don't go reading too much into it. It is what it is. Had you come on here with concern for the dog and then mentioned retailiation as an aside, a different reaction would've been evoked, I'm sure. But you came on, guns-a-blazin' alleging this and that, and the video was the cherry on top. Nowhere did you mention any concern for Natalee as an individual, and THAT is where you screwed up and got off on the wrong foot.

Was just reading bits and pieces of this and had to see video. The only thing I saw was some female for 3 minutes dragging a cowhocked GSD up and down asphalt. Making it loose its footing several times. If this dog just arived then its not familar with anything or anyone and looks confused. After 30 seconds you can tell the dog is cowhocked but lets drag this on for 3 minutes. I was just waiting for her to start swinging the dog in the air. Poor dog!

I am going to have to say something a dog being dragged would look a lot different ok explain how in detail how this dog looks like its being dragged.  Because I can guarantee This dog being dragged in a video will look a LOT worse and way different than what this dog is doing in this video. Ok its not ok to push a paralyzed child out of a wheel chair but if the kid does have a disability and IS able to walk  but not well its better for that child to actually walk at least once a day to build the muscle in their legs. That’s not being cruel that people helping the child walk possibly helping the child not live the rest of his or her life in a wheel char. Now on dog side this dog can walk and run but differently from what is seen in the video. But the dog gets the job done differently. So you’re saying they are abusing the dog by making the dog walk/run which its prop best for the dog to be active. You’re basically saying this dog shouldn’t even be walking or running its sounds to me like you saying to put the dog down even though the dog can walk so what you’re saying people and dogs that can barely walk or cant at all we should just put them down?  so if they where to play fetch with the dog in the video while filming it that is being cruel as well to you? Because they are making the dog run even though the dog wants’ to retrieve the ball or stick. so your saying they  should go get the stick or ball for this dog so it doesn’t feel pain when it runs or walks. And in the video how do we know that this handler is the owner it may just be a friend of someone while the owner shoots video.
