I think he's nice. You have to take into account he's still just a puppy (6 mo. old) in that photo. Look at those big feet!

Lynod,
He's gorgeous! Beautiful pigment and I agree with Sunsilver as well, look at those feet!! He's going to be a big and handsome boy when he gets done growing into those bones.

Sorry for the typo, he was 6 mos in picture. He is now five years and structurally still beautiful. I wish I could stack him and take an updated picture. I may get my friend to help me. His movement is wonderful. If you watch him move down and back his trot is very efficient yet very graceful at the same time. No paddling. He could go all day and work at that pace which I believe is what the standard was originally written for. I love his color, but I also love a well built/structured black and tan as well I.e. Quanto Jipo Me. And you are right Maggie Mae everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I don't begrudge you yours that's why god gave us all one. But in most instances the way the showlines are they are not healthy specimans and have many many structural flaws as well as flaws in temperment. I would love to see the showlines move away from their current look to a more stable well srutured dog that is built to work all day as was the original intent. JMHO.
