I didn't say that but what business it that of ours and why should I be comfortable with bombing the hell out of a country that was never a threat to us and then spending trillions of dollars of U.S. taxpayers' hard earned dollars to rebuild it? Here:s a clue: Saudi Arabia is not a democracy and their government is based on a strict interpretation of Islam. They have WMD's; we sell them to them...they buy more arms than any other country in the world. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. Why are we attacking Iraq insted of Saudi Arabia again?
"Regarding the Source -- news.yahoo.com/s/bloomberg/20100121/pl_bloomberg/a8uii1bcrdmy"
Did you read past the headline? What it really says is that 77% of Bloomberg subscribers don't have confidence in Obama. I would submit that any investor following Bloomberg, who lost money during the stock market boom in the 90's, is an idiot.
"War is War -- When we send troops to fight, they should be allowed to do just that without being hindered by being PC on "collateral damage." Why do you think the Terrorists hide among the general population and behind the skirts of women and little kids and in their mosques. They KNOW the U.S. tries to minimize the damage to innocents. Get real Keith !! "
When you have served in the military, you come and talk to me about the rules of engagement. The United States cannot simultaneously hold ourselves up as defenders of human rights and resort to the same tactics that other, lesser forces employ and to suggest that we should is an insult to every man or woman who has ever honorably served this country in uniform. If we abandon our principles, the terrorists have won.

Maybe we should examine a few of our principles.
Terrorists have already won more than once.
It all goes back to who you elect to hold public office to represent you.
And how they go about that task.
Depends on who stands up for whats really right and demands representation.
None of this really matters, whats coming is beyond control now.
Somewhere in all this chaos there is a plan, this plan was not designed to serve us or them.
Figure out who it does serve.

Why not use them? Simple. He knew he could not win militarily against the US even with WMDs. However, he also had first hand experience with the US coming in and stopping short of unseating him. Imagine the great victory it would have been for him in the eyes of the world if the US had come in as before and not overthrown him. I don't think he ever thought it was going to come to where it is. In fact, I think it is a great posthumous victory for him even now as people such as yourself are now questioning whether it is America that is evil. I guess you can presume to know more than the Iraqi general in the link I posted. Are you CIA? As for him being to hobbled by embargo, please go back and read what I posted earlier about oil for food and the asprin factory. By previous administration, are you referring to the Bush or the Clinton administration? Both made references to his WMDs during their respective tenures.
Why did he not just comply with UN 1441?

Raymond -- you are soooooo wrong about 9-11. Why are you so vulnerable and fall for the lunatic "conspiracy" theories? That really does surprise me about you. You are so open/vulnerable to believing pathetic, deranged B.S. Strange, very strange.......

No Raymond it was not Germany. It was Dr. Gerald Bull from Quebec Canada, my wife at one time worked for Dr. Bull. It was called Project Babylon "supergun".
Dr. Bull was later assasinated by the Israelis in Belgium.
