Actually RedSable I am sure you will be relieved to find their isn't an ounce of truth to the tall tales about congress and geography.  Unfortunately those rumors kind of generate a life of their own after a while and become even more far fetched and fantastic  with each retelling.  Round and round the Internet they go, kept alive by those to whom the truth is expendable, only important as long as it suites their purposes and to hell with it when they want to forward their  agenda.  Sad that they think they have the right to manipulate people with lies to suit their purposes.  I guess they figure if scare tactics and lies generated to frighten those who may not check sources were good enough for Carl Rove, it's good enough for them.  For those who have enough common sense,  check it out for yourselves.  A simple google search will start you out here  : www.snopes.com/travel/trap/congress.asp   

I realize some of  you have whipped each other into a frenzy  screaming  "the sky is falling the sky is falling", so have at it, just realize you take yourselves a hell of a lot more seriously than anyone else does, thank goodness.

Why do you folk not just get on with living a life the best you can
You are not politicians, do you spend your days worrying what the next day will bring it looks that way to me reading this left and right side of your country,
I guess a lot of you are frightened people, Just get on with your normal daily tasks and stop thinking of all the bad things which may happen in the future, they will happen soon enough and before any of you think i am naive, Let me tell you i have seen it all, done it and for a good few years, but that is passed and i am thankful to be posting this so i know more or less what hell is well it seemed that way at the time.
but you cannot live worrying about things which has not yet,  may happen but also it may never happen life is far too short already so quit worrying take your dog for a walk and enjoy the sunshine if it is out
Now i am off to Track Izzy and my last post on this subject for it  will spoil the day with all the doom and gloom
