God will turn his head away from a nation that denies him and dishonors him . Christians are not the say so to "go and tell all nations". The Holy Bible says it in Gods Holy Word, spoken by Jesus....it is called THE GREAT Commission.......not Jans idea, or Raymonds Idea, or UD idea or MaggieMaes Idea......Jesus , who is God incarnate, said GO tell all the nations...
. God wants all nations to be Godly and call upon HIM and worship him,,not me or you or a church building or a temple...worship HIM...ask His guidance, We are HIS people,,Jew and Gentile alike,,not a bit of difference...He is not a divided God...the following teachings are from a Jewish Christian who lives in Israel...not an American...
We are a Godly nation,, we were founded on Gods WOrd and God. nothing else. Yes , anyone can worship here and peacefully go about your own praying and your own church affliation but we pray to God>
WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT,,THREE IN ONE..THE GODHEAD.....IF YOU DENY HIM., HE WILL SPEW YOU OUT OF HIS MOUTH.....NO REASON FOR OUR NATION TO FALL FROM HIM.
JUST THINK WHAT IF,, ALL THE CONGRESSME, HEADS OF OUR GOVERNMENT , MONDAY MORNING , BOWED ON THEIR KNEES AND ASK GOD FOR HIS HELP FOR OUR NATION , HELP TO DECIDE,, HELP TO FREE US FROM HATE , SIN AND EVIL.....JUST IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN......????????

When many Christians think of the "great commission," they associate the "great commission" with preaching the Gospel message of salvation to unbelievers. This message of salvation consists of preaching that Jesus shed His blood on the cross so that we can be forgiven of our sins and by receiving Him into our hearts and life, you will be saved and go to heaven. While it is true if you believe the Gospel message that Jesus shed His blood on the cross so that you can be forgiven of your sins and by making a decision to repent of your sins and receive Jesus into your heart and life that you will go to heaven, this is not the FULLNESS of fulfilling the "great commission." Let us examine more closely what is the "great commission" according to Jesus. In Matthew 28:19-20 it is written:
"Go ye therefore and teach (make disciples of) all nations .... teaching (making students) them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.."
This commandment of Jesus has NEVER been fulfilled. While many around the world have heard about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and that He shed His blood on the cross to forgive us of our sins and by repenting of our sins and receiving Him into our heart and life we will go to heaven, the world is far from being disciples (students) of God's Word and the ways of the Kingdom of Heaven. The great commission will not be fulfilled until the Messianic Age when Jesus Himself will rule and reign from Jerusalem for 1,000 years. At that time, the followers of Jesus will go forth and make disciples (students) of all nations. This truth can be seen in Isaiah 2:2-3 as it is written:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."
Therefore, we can see that the goal of Christianity as defined by Jesus when He gave the "great commission" is not just to make converts to Christianity but to make converts and disciples (students) of all nations on the earth.

George Soros: China a 'positive force'
The billionaire financier George Soros says that China's economy will grow faster than people expect and so will its global economic influence.
June 7, 2009: 12:45 PM ET
SHANGHAI (Reuters) -- Financier George Soros said on Sunday that China's global influence is set to grow faster than most people expect, with its isolation from the global financial system and a heavy state role in banking aiding a relatively swift economic recovery.
He reiterated his cautious views regarding the surge in global stock markets, although he said it may have further to go given liquidity in the markets and that many investors are still sitting on the sidelines.
"In many ways, Chinese banking has benefited from being isolated from the rest of the world and is in better shape than the international banking system," he told an audience at Shanghai's Fudan University.
China's extensive capital controls have helped to shield its financial institutions from the worst of the global financial crisis.
"The influence of the state is also greater. So when the government says 'lend', banks lend," Soros added. "This puts China in a better position to recover from the recession and that is in fact what has happened."
New loans by Chinese banks surged to record levels in the first quarter, spurring optimism over recovery prospects for the world's third-largest economy.
"China is going to be a positive force in the world and the market, and as a consequence, its power and influence are likely to grow. Personally, I believe it's going to grow faster than most people currently expect," Soros said.
He acknowledged that some doubts remain over China's economic recovery, however, noting data such as a continued fall in electricity consumption.
He also noted that China's aggressive 4 trillion yuan ($586 billion) economic stimulus program, announced last year, had bolstered the economy.
"If that program proves inadequate, it is in a position to apply additional stimulus. China is also in a position to foster a revival of its exports by extending credit and investing abroad," he said.
He reiterated his view that because China's economy is only one-quarter the size of the U.S. economy, it cannot replace the American consumer as the motor of the global economy, so global growth will be slower than in the past.
He sounded a more upbeat note for China's asset markets than for global markets overall, where he remained wary.
"I'm pretty cautious. Even though I've said prices are cheap, I'm not so optimistic as to put all my money into stocks or assets because I think that the outlook is fairly uncertain.
"I do, however, think that the Chinese economy is a promising economy. I think here it is more a matter of finding the right assets rather than saying that I'm not interested in investing."
Asked if the recent climb in global stock markets was a bear market rally, he said: "It may have further to go because there is a lot of liquidity, a lot of investors are on the sidelines. If the market keeps on going up, more of them may decide to join in. You never know how far the rally goes."
"But I certainly don't think we are at the beginning of a big bull market worldwide."

http://blogs.theaustralian.news.com.au/janetalbrechtsen/index.php/theaustralian/comments/hey_unions_leave_those_kids_alone/
Hannan’s news report described a new initiative called Unionstart run by Unions NSW where unionists will go into NSW schools to educate 14 to 18-year-olds about unions. Hannan reported that “schools give activists permission to visit and educate students about the role of unions”.
Unions are said to be prohibited from overt recruiting or from pushing propaganda. NSW parents should be grateful for those small mercies because Unions NSW officer Matt Dixon seemed to be in no doubt that this education program will help lift union membership. Dixon complained that union membership among young people was “quite low and it’s to the point where it is actually declining”. He put that down to a lack of knowledge and understanding, something Unionstart is designed to cure.
What is most revealing is that in NSW this breathtaking abuse of our school system, and our school children, passes almost without remark. With the exception of Hannan’s short piece, there has been virtually no media interest and no public outcry that unions get privileged access to schoolchildren to go on membership drives under the banner of “education”.
Vulnerable young minds, at their most impressionable, can expect to be presented with union information - not objective information. Even if unions stay an inch or two within the “no overt recruiting rule” you can be confident that school students will not receive a balanced message. Julia Gillard’s concerns about union men in balaclavas involved in the West Gate Bridge development in Melbourne, Martin Ferguson’s warnings about union excesses in the middle of a global financial crisis, the history of the Painters and Dockers, the reports and royal commissions that uncovered union corruption and intimidation within the building industry, and the true story of the siege of Dollar Sweets - none of these will feature in the Unionstart campaign.
But even if they did, what right does the NSW Government have to politicise our schools? That every child may one day be a worker is no justification for unions to enter our schools. There is a reason why fewer and fewer workers are joining unions. And it’s not lack of education. It is lack of relevance, as more workers feel empowered to negotiate their own preferred terms of employment, rather than a one-size fits all union diktat.
Schools are supposed to be secular and apolitical. Imagine the outcry if the Business Council were allowed into our schools to teach kids about the virtues of employer organisations. Or if the Australian Bankers Association were allowed in to explain to children that banks are just poor, misunderstood organisations. Regrettably the NSW Government is so manifestly and overwhelmingly in thrall to Unions NSW that this kind of unconscionable outrage attracts little more than a yawn. It is banal to observe that the relationship between the NSW Labor Government and NSW unions has corrupted beyond recognition all standards of good governance. So long has this continued that residents of NSW just shrug their shoulders.
The abysmal state of NSW stands as an abject warning to the rest of the country. Indeed, to give credit where it’s due, the Rudd Government appears to understand the dire relationship between the NSW state government and unions, refusing to pour money into NSW infrastructure because it knows it will be wasted by a government under the thumb of its union paymasters.
More importantly, at least for the moment, the Rudd Government appears to have seen the

well, we attended a send off ceremony yesterday for our middle son on his way to iraq for the 2nd time. i can't feel good about this. i don't feel like the "prompter in chief" is going to do what is necessary to keep our troops safe. we have too many countries making threats against us to be cutting our military budget. i am worried for him and i am also worried for us because things here at home seem to be getting worse by the day. i will do everything within my power to unseat the far left liberals and yes-men in our house and senate in 2010. we must also get the acorn and associates under control! if they are left to their own vises, the next election will be sewed up via the next census. its time. we must take our country back.
