Jim -- I, too, have been trying to avoid certain posters and threads. When I do post, "certain people" always seem to "pop up" and make some snide remarks....I can ignore them for awhile, but only for awhile -- then "it's on." I believe that is why Hans has been such a "hit" on the Forum -- with MOST -- not ALL -- because he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but he does not resort to "put-downs" in order to diminish another Poster's opinion.

MaggieMae its very edvident you have no clue about Schutzhnd or protection dogs. You like show dogs and thats okay. But you are showing how little you know about shutzhund or protection sports period. you can like what ever you like as far as bloodlines. Have you ever looked at the bite work at the American Sieger show or German for that matter for the most part its pittiful. Go hang aroung a good shutzhund club for a few months and watch some of the dogs trained and you will learn the real difference in these lines. Just like many of the Chez dogs people are offering for sale for big money on here that have a ZVV1 its a reason most never get titled any higher here. They have terrible training and some go back on show lines as well . Just because a dog is sable doesn't mean its all working lines. Ill take a nice boned big wide headed dog that lkes to do schutzhund, can work the streets as a police dog and keep my kids company and you keep what you like

Maggie, Maggie Maggie
You really are an arrogant silly woman, But never mind you cannot help the way you are, I can tolerate your inadequate knowledge of dogs on the whole and none where the Working line Dog is concerned, A little on the thick side is the correct saying

If you are calling me Stupid, Idiot, Arrogant, Silly -- whatever -- then you are also calling Hans the same. I agreed with his Posts on this Thread.
I also found the article on "Temperment" and posted it. I think it is a very good, informative article. Steve said he didn't even read the article. By the logic of some -- "don't believe everything you read on the internet" -- well, this Forum is on the Internet, so everytlhing you guys post should be taken "with a grain of salt" by people who come here looking for information ??

Wow this threat turn around quickly huh lol ;)
Maggie why won't you just prove how little dose Steve, Jim, Gustav and the rest knows, post some working videos of your dog, even better post some of the excellent helper work you doing yourself (because till you wear that sleeve or suite you don't know shit, about temperament, and nerves). So quite while they didn't make you look any more ridiculous than you already look. Jim, Gustav, Hans, and some other know way more than you will learn in a life time but you still think that you know better. The bottom line good working dog, good German Shepherd Dog, is a working dog and it's beauty is defined through its utility, and not through his show rating. Go back to basics, and stop hanging around just SL people, there is wealth of information to learn from either camp, I try to learn as much as I can from each, even though I don't agree with a lot of SL people.

Do you people actually read and comprehend? I agree with Hans waaaaay before I would believe you, Steve, etc., and I also believe the author of the article on Temperment knows a hell of a lot more than you novices.

by snajper69 on 08 December 2009 - 21:12
Yes we are all novices, thanks god we have you ;) that's why you need to browse internet to find somethng as basic as this? You know that most of us know and understand temperament very whell, the only difference is what we like to see in our dogs vs the other guy.

Oh hold the phone. Steve NEVER called Hans any of those things and you know it, Maggs. Furthermore, I just went back and re-read the thread and Held never did call Hans an idiot. That was maggs shit stirring, once again putting words in someone else's mouth, just as she is trying to start something here between Steve and Hans.
