Too bad it is impossible for you guys to show the same class as your candidate McCain did.  I guess you just don't have it in you.  If the whiners and complainers on this board are representative of McCain supporters, I have no doubt you have all sorely disappointed him today.  You don't measure up to him, not by a long shot.

4pack :"I'm going to start counting the Escalade driving welfare moms soon enough."

How do you plan on doing that? I'm sure YOU can just look at them and tell. Right?

Ugly/Mel

Also, why is it that you state the Holocaust did not happen, yet you use photographs of Hitler with captions that state he is a mass murderer?   Which one is it , Mel?

I was hoping that people would pick up on the graciousness McCain showed last night. We still have a lot of hurdles to overcome in this country.

I never stated it Don.

"The Zionists brought us to the Holocaust. It is well known that it was possible to redeem Jews from the Nazis with money, and save many hundreds of thousands of Jews in Hungary from the fire. THE ZIONIST LEADERS WHO NOW SIT IN GOVERNMENT PREVENTED IT!"

Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Eherenreich

Indeed, the field of Holocaust studies is replete with nonsense, if not sheer fraud." ...

-Professor Norman Finklestein, son of Holocaust Survivors

"In recent years, the Holocaust industry has become an outright extortion racket." ...

In what has become a mantra of the Holocaust restitution racket, this constituted "the greatest robbery in the history of mankind." -Rabbi Arthur Hertzberg

Don, my math isnt real good. What is 6 million minus - 2.5 million? (Pre 1990, post 1991)

"This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.

It can't happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.

So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility, where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other.

Let us remember that, if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers.

In this country, we rise or fall as one nation, as one people.  Let's resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long.

Let's remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House, a party founded on the values of self-reliance and individual liberty and national unity.

Those are values that we all share. And while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress.

As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, we are not enemies but friends. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.

And to those Americans who support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices.  I need your help.  And I will be your president too.   (President Obama)

Sue, Tess, Hodie, Ron, Steve, July Molly et al: PLEASE leave these threads to the racist losers to rant and rave among themselves. They have repeatedly shown their true colors and sick, racist attitudes. Now, they drive home their lack of any semblance of class. Please don't bother responding to them. Let them wallow in their muck to their hearts' content. Sadly, I learned more about a couple of people I had liked and respected than I ever wanted to know in the wildest nightmares. Let's just move on. It is a new era for America and I am so damn proud to be an American? Something I don't think I ever felt this strongly before. 1-20-09: The End of an Error...and Obama's Inauguration Day!

by Blitzen on 05 November 2008 - 18:11

You are spot on, Mystere. Thanks for the reminder that we can't fix stupid, I'm out of here.
