First, the temp thing I didn't insert it far enough, so get temp was not 98. It's holding steady at 101.2. As for the bleeding, he said although it's not normal it's nothing to be concerned about. Her blood work and urine all came back clear "with a slight fluctuation in white cells" so he put her on amoxicillin to be safe. The blood that I saw he says it's "sloughing" probably not spelling that right. He says it's when her uterus had an abundant supply of blood or lining and it was simply shedding some. She hasn't had any spotting for 2 days, or maybe a day, my time is becoming a blur with this whirlwind of chaos.
Her mucus plug is intact but he did say the pups are moving down which released a small amount due to pressure. He did warn me to keep a very close eye on her as he said she may only make it to the 59 day mark, probably sooner because they are lining up and moving down pretty far. He was able to scan her (odd enough since the other vet couldn't even get close enough). He counted 6 pups but says it looks like there's possibly three under her ribs. There was a little concern with one, he just said he didn't like the way his/her scan appeared. So he wants us back at day 59 so he can perform another scan.
I know I'm forgetting something but I can't remember what....oh, he did based on size she could be a few days ahead of when I caught them but he said since I'm a basket case to stay with my count (day 50), plus, he said it is a possibility that they are just on the plus side of health.
With the wealth of information he gave me, I'm just glad she got flying colors and she lived him

Is it normal for her to go through the stages (panting for a short while and slight nesting, nothing severe) only to stop? One more night of no sleep and my insomnia is going to bring its ugly head back to life!
By the way, sorry for all the misspelled words in my other posts. I'm typing from my phone and missed more than I thought...

Yes good idea for all hands on deck. Very well could be time for her to have her puppies, put her in her box and watch. She will know what to do, if not call your vet. Good luck. Nan
