I don,t believe the fairy tail of Camalot never did, My impression of the whole Kennedy line was suspect I believe that the best of the Kennedy,s died too early to make a real mark.
Our opinions and our praise or denunceiation all come from our different prospectives again to some a saint to some a sinner and we will not change our prospective stances and we all have a right to our own opinions.
Trying to slash on everone here by everyone here is stupid. we all come together because of one defining thing in common our dogs so think of this a human being has died here right, wrong, indifferent he is dead let those who celebrate his passing to there own and for those who celebrate his death to there own also in the end he was a man not perfect but a man lost to the ages let him go and let us view the passing of time for we shall all follow someday.
A dream is a nite mare in the mind of a mad man.
A mad man is only one dream from where we all are now.
R.I.P. Ted Kennedy you now face those who have gone before you. Let them judge his character.

I evaluate people on the totality of their lives. Ted Kennedy was a man who had his flaws but he was also a man whose accomplishments as a senator were gargantuan. For anyone interested in his legislative accomplishments here is a link that summarizes the difference he made in people's lives:

Even allowing for the human inclination not to condemn people who have just died (even if not evident on this thread), the praise from his colleagues - especially Republicans - who disagreed with him in terms of his political philosophy is remarkable.
My thanks to those on this thread - MickeyD, Bob, TM and others - who had reservations about Kennedy but kept things in perspective.
As a Christian, I find it amazing that professed Christians on this thread are so judgemental. It brings to mind Gandhi's comment:
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

Now Ron, don't be a HATER, you just don't have what it takes to be a cop, or a dog trainer from what I've seen. I hope to see you soon at one of the many North East Regional events and we can talk like two American Citizens with different political views. I bet your tone will be much more respectful, as mine was with this post.
ps you probably have a dog named barack, or obama. lol

by Fitz152 on 27 August 2009 - 14:08
Ron - My dogs name is NOT barack lol I know you loved the Cris Rock post too! I'm not sure of what antics you speak of but I am entertaining and I have a very good dog. Let me know if you want to work him. Send a private post and we can work something out I'm sure

Pull your head out of your ass maggs. People are free to read the thread and come to their own conclusions about who said what.

Mike.... you need not take things personally....If I can get away from my street level pharmaceutical salesman job, which you're sure, is my current occupation, I'd gladly work your very good dog...ha ha! Chris Rock is one of my favorite.....but I must have missed that post!

I'm still looking for that scripture where Jesus says it is okay to kill an innocent baby.
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”"
I agree with Ghandi.
