does anyone know if he is fair on placing on working lines in conformation shows??

Harley, Just make sure your dog is fit, can trot 30 minutes without tiring, is lean and clean and has a good handler with someone to double handle the dog. All too often people accuse the SV judges of only placing show lines in top places in local and regional shows. It is not true in my experience. At our events we have had some nice show line dogs who were probably more correct to the standard, but when poorly handled, not fit etc., were beaten by working lines who were also correct (perhaps with minor faults) and fit and well handled. It does make a difference and too often, working line enthusiasts do not seem to realize their dogs place poorly and in at least some cases, do so because the dog was not ready to be shown. One should prepare a dog for showing, just as one works to train for sport. Good luck.

hey hodie, i would love to show palma,i just don't know if she has it there is show coming in late march by me using this judge. maybe if i take some confidence pills...lol
