photos of her at a terrible stack...her leg is so under her. I tried to move it back but by then all she wanted to do was post. Its all i could do with out help. The other pictures are her standing naturally and of course heads shots. I am very happy with her, i just wanted other opinion on whether it would be worth trying to show her. Any specifics on structure , good or bad will help. I want to have a better eye. Thanks

i will post more of her when she gets older, i know she will change as time goes.

What is there to lose by showing her? I would! She is nice. You already pointed out a lot of the issues with the stack. She is at an age where I'd be happy with her looking like that. Croup is something that can improve with age and I have seen far, far worse in working lines than hers. Front/shoulder, not bad, could have a tad more layback perhaps but again, not bad for her age. She will look better and better with age- my prediction, anyway. She looks like a nice SG dog, to me, in her future.

you mentioned the croup, is it too short? i does seem to drop off a lot in her stack. have you seen the video's ? do the links work?

Just on the photos, I'd agree with Jenni. But if you are in the States, check your Show venues / organisation ! See the other current thred started by LadyBoss on whether to show her sable (bitch) pup ! I'll try to watch your vids later. Good luck !

I confess I did not watch your vids. Nothing personal at all; I don't watch ANYone's vids! I have plenty of dogs and a busy child to keep me busy and try to keep my forum participation to quick "check-ins" here and there. Couple that with slloooooowww Internet out in the boonies and nope, never watch videos on the computer. If it's something I *must* see, I use my phone.

Like I said, her croup is not bad. Working lines in general tend to have shorter, steeper croups. I'm happy with a puppy who doesn't look like its tail has been pinned on in a birthday party game. CanNOT stand that pinned-on too high look you see in so many DDR and Czech dogs. Ugh. Anyway, hers is not bad for her age and the croup is one thing that does tend to improve with age. Patience!

Very pretty girl. Keep up the good work. Teach her to stand while you are moving her feet; just start with holding her while she stacks herself; stay; then move in front of her and look how she stacked herself, then back along side of her, then stay again; move a foot at a time, where you want her to stack it, then stay again. Only very short durations at a time until she is a bit more mature, then increase her stacking time, a bit at a time. Good luck with her. At this age she looks like she is maturing nicely. Best of luck, Nan

IABCA or UKC could be options. I would not waste your money on AKC. This is not a type of dog that will do well there. AKC performance events are, of course, a different story and can be a lot of fun. Also, your breeder may have some recommendations for venues.

Hi Bun Bun,
She looks lovely, just as commented by all above.
Here is my two bits.

A young grey puppy bitch Showing good bone, very good proportions and type.
She has a very good head and expression, with good placement of the ears.( ear set. )
Standing she shows, good withers, a level back and a good lay of croup which is sl. short.
( get her to play tug with you to help improve the withers a bit )
very good front angulations with a good upper arm and very good hind angulations with clean hocks.
Has a good width of chest and strait fronts.
( the 1st photo shows a good stack except for a) Try not to move the left hind too far forward,
she seems a bit unbalanced standingas compared to the 3rd. photo.
She has beautiful hind angulations, look at the 3rd. photo. now when stacking her, move the rt.hind leg
only as far back as the left hind, to straiten the hocks. this will keep her in balance.
to improve the expression, get some body to attract her.
Show her in all types of shows to give her exposture and you experience, and most important enjoy yourself.
hope this is helpful.
