Good afertnoon,
My female is pregnant. Yesterday I checked her breast to see if she is expressing milk; she is. How long before a female deliver her pups does she normally express milk? From my experience a female usually goes two days from the first drop of milk before she delivers. What are any thoughts on this?

I have had them go from 72 hours to even a week from first milk

Tigermouse, I believe that was my other female. I bred this female February 14,-17 She is due April 19, but from looking at her I don't think she is going to go all the way to the 19. I was thinking maybe this thursday or friday. She was eating fine up until today. She is constantly digging for a spot but I know they can do that a while before they deliver.

sounds imminent then take her temp twice per day and look for a drop to around 97/98 that's usually a pretty good indication she will whelp within 24 hours:)

you better take a temperature reading after the 68th day. after24hrs the temp went down enjoy the sho of life.........
