I don't know how long this video will last... anybody manage to grab this video and host it up on their website will be great! I was wondering what do you guys think of the video? http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=Politie-honden-bizarsite I didn't like when the dog turned against the handler.... I guess too much drives can be chaos???

Its all very exciting to watch the ultimate in fight drives and get our adrenalin going but I pity the poor animal which has been driven so much into the defence drive that it is on the verge of insanity. And one day when the animal is totally out of control due to NO fault of his he will be put to sleep. My two cents regards Vikram

Of course theses dogs will never be sold ( when retirement) to a pet home, I hope. I believe that experienced(good) handlers would try to avoid this from happening.

I think it was fantastic..........nothing like a nice Malinois at work Thanks for sharing Brittany

Looks like typical Mals...bite first, think later (if at all).

Hello, This show's a police k-9 not a sport dog . This is what a police k-9 does. They are not biteing out of prey or for fun its for real . The guy that his dog bites him should of had better control of his k-9 but this dog may be a handler hard dog also , I know I have a mal. just like this k-9 he is a former police k-9 . Nice dogs and I love to see them work and train like this this is the real deal . If we all trained are sport dogs to the level of the dogs in the video I wonder what scores we would get.

The first bite was all prey, no fight about it (object was escaping). The second bite could also be trained in prey...notice the nice full mouth, calm grip and very little fight from the decoy. The third bite, there is a little more struggle with the decoy (wrapping up the dog and covering the dog a little), could also be conditioned in prey. The "hostage situation" was an attack from behind (not fight or defense) and a dog coming over the car for a sleeve bite again with no pressure from the decoy. The most pressure in the "hostage situation" is when the guy falls on the dog. Did everyone notice that they waited until the hostage was in the car and the door was mostly shut before the dogs came in? Why do you think that is? I think it's partly because of what we saw when the dog bit its handler, inability to cap drives. Sorry, but I was not impressed. I actually had to laugh that they waited to get the hostage out of the way before sending the Mals in...probably because he would've been bit too! I saw nothing that showed that these dogs were in fight rather than prey or combo of prey with a little defense. Granted, they were VERY high in drive, but still nothing that definitely showed these dogs in "fight drive." Is it possible that the dogs were working in fight? Maybe, but all the situations were set up so a dog with HIGH prey and decent nerve could do well. Let's see the dogs actually working on a decoy that's putting some serious pressure there to see what they're really doing.
