Vandykan - yes, but there is supposed to be an increased
risk of cancer of retained testicles. Bad enough if you don't
operate to remove one that hasn't dropped; leaving TWO
stuck up inside seems unnecessarily risky to me.

One of the problems with retained testes is that they will still have the breeding urge and yes, they CAN still sire a litter. And then there are the health risks.
They may not be a proponent as one who has dropped, but they still may have some live sperm.
