Sachsenwolf Shepherds are bred for Health, Temperament, and Versatility.  We specialize in DDR/East German Import lines, and breed about one litter a year, putting quality before quantity.  Our pups are watched over 24/7 during whelping until 2 weeks or so, are marked and tracked from birth, handled daily, and regularly exposed to various sights, sounds and surfaces.

Our breeding adults undergo extensive health screens including hips, elbows, eyes, cardiac, thyroid, DM (dna CLEAR), and more.  They are housedogs, and are treated as family members.  But they are also out and about, training (obedience, rally, and agility), trialing, doing therapy visits, playing with other dogs, and going for long walks.  To us, they are wonderful companions... always willing and ready to do whatever you want to do, but yet so great around our other dogs and cats... just a joy to have in our lives.
