Burning River is a small home based kennel out of Cleveland, Ohio. We take breeding very seriously and we strive to breed the healthiest boxers possible. Temperament is of the utmost importance and all of our dogs are indoor dogs, meaning they are not raised in kennels; they are raised in our home. Although occupying our couch is our dogs' primary "job" they enjoy training and working in Obedience as well. We also believe in showing our dogs in Conformation to ensure that they closely represent the blueprint, or standard by which the boxer breed is maintained.

All of our breeding stock is tested for heart, hip and thyroid problems prior to being bred. If any genetic conditions are found, consideration to remove said dog from our breeding program is made. Hardcopies of health tests will be made available to serious inquiries only. We will always take back any dog that is ever bred by us at any time, no questions asked. Pets will always be placed on spay and neuter contracts and we reserve the right to place show prospects on co-ownership contracts. We also believe in helping boxers that are already here before considering bringing more into this world. We believe very strongly in caring for the breed as a whole, and these are just a few things that we do in light of that.

We have been members of Miami Valley Boxer Club since 2002.
