 We have been involved with German Shepherds for a combined 27 years. It is our goal at von der Schotterstrasse Zwinger to breed dogs for working ability (i.e. high drive), temperament (i.e. strong nerves), health, intelligence, and conformation correct. We title our dogs (ourselves) to help prove the working ability and temperament of our breeding females. 

We select our Stud and Bitch for breeding according to structure, intelligence, working ability, temperament, health, and always to improve the breed. Genotype and Phenotype!

Our puppies make excellent working dogs as well as super pets. Puppies are socialized to a plethora of sounds, toys, and overall experiences (i.e., slick floors, stairs etc..) as well as imprinting for future work.

Our puppies are suitable, for a multitude of tasks and are tested for proper temperament and drives before going to proper homes.  We may, keep a puppy or two for Police Work out of our breedings. Our puppies, with proper training, will excel at Police service work, Search and rescue, Schutzhund, Therapy, AKC, Pets, etc...  Always Quality over Quantity.
