Welcome to Silver Creek kennels. We are and independent hobby breeder focusing on the breed standard of the German Shepherd Dog and The American Cocker Spaniel. Our focus is on breeding only top quality German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels with the right temperament and disposition to fit into any family dynamics. I am especially passionate about raising low drive German Shepherd dogs who will make excellent service dogs, emotional support and/or therapy dogs for the disabled vets and children with disability needs. I have selected only those dogs who have what I think it takes to make a good service dog candidate. Our dogs are very sweet, calm and posses that loyal protective disposition that the German Shepherd is known for. Our dogs are working dogs but also have what I like to refer to as an "on/off switch", which allows them to work when needed but they do not have the high drive that some GSD have that make them less suitable for the family pet. We have one stud and two bitches in which we breed. We have been very selective in our choices for our breeding program. I do not compete these dogs, however that's not to say that their offspring shouldn't or couldn't be shown or competed. I just simply am not able to do so myself.
