Description
Vom Echo Wald is a quality breeding program for West German Shepherds located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
We have been involved with the exceptional GSD breed for over 50 years. Our love for the German Shepherd has taken us into American, East German and West German lines. Over time, our preference has narrowed our program to the incredible West German Working and Show lines. We have found West German lines to be powerful, reliable and dedicated for work, with a disposition suitable for multiple positions as Companions or Service dogs in the home or community.
Our dogs have been chosen from extremely solid lines that have produced outstanding working dogs with great accomplishments, sound health, sound minds and proven character. Please take the time to review the pedigrees for each dog as parents, grandparents and far reaching ancestry all support the continued excellence and valuable dogs our program produces.
We take our role in supplying the best nutrition very seriously, and provide only the finest organic, meat based dog food for our companions. We feed Natures Logic formulas with perfect results for growth, and continued health. We do not compromise as what you feed your dog will affect its well being for all the coming years of its life.
At Vom Echo Wald, our dogs live with us, and are not 'kenneled". If a dog cannot be part of its owners life, one should not own it. Dogs have a soul and were created to be the honest and loyal companion of man. Hiking the trails of the Olympics, swimming in the lakes and ocean, forest adventures are all something they enjoy as our companions in life. I have no respect for those who own, breed, and produce puppies if their dogs are left without the joy of life they were meant to have just as we are. If a GSD cannot be part of your life do not own one.
Our true goal is to produce exceptional examples of the GSD, in every facet from fitness for purpose physically to the sound, loyal and dedicated disposition it should possess mentally. The German Shepherd is unmatched in the multitude of areas it has preformed with great success over time. The German Shepherd will always excel if people are dedicated to never compromising structure, disposition or soundness in their programs and breed the GSD out of great respect for its traditions and purpose....No compromise.
