Looking at the picture of this NY powerhouse dog, can anyone say if he is prey or defense drive and what are the indicators? He does not seem to be retreating and that show of teeth says something.

I will take your word he is a powerhouse as you must have seen him.
This is a picture how can you tell. I have pups who can open their mouths and show me teeth like this and be pulling on a leash.
I can't tell from a picture can you

I can tell for sure the handler must have soft hands, prolly shaves his legs and the dog has teeth, 4 legs, a tail... not a lot else for certain.

I don't think so you should have seen my 9 month old female no training trying to get some meat from my hand she was positively deadly looking and feeling when she could not reach my raised hand so went lower and got my arm
Maybe someone else can tell from a picture be glad to hear from them and learn something

I think with all the equipment laying around and the harness most knew it was a training session.
My point is/was that a show of teeth does not tell you what drive a dog is in.

If that is so then he has a pathetic low life handler and helper. Won't call either of them a trainer nor this a training session
