Does anyone have an idea how to estimate a puppy's adult weight. My pup is 1 week short of 6 months old, and on Feb 5, 2015 she weighed 57 pounds. Her dam is about 75 and the sire is 95 ( when lean ). Can anyone give I idea of how much she may weigh. A statistical calulator for her breed reports 80 lbs. Anyone knows any reliable way of estimating?

My guess is 70 pounds based on ears and feet .. no way to tell really but at 6 months she is through the steepest part of the growth curve. Lying down it is hard to tell but in part it depends on how tall and how long she is.

A good rule of thumb is to double the dog's weight at 4 months old (if you know what it was). That should give you a very close estimate of her weight as an adult.
