He is no Bolle!! Normal
by vk4gsd on 24 January 2015 - 06:01
haha, normal is better than shitter fail or not engaging and bolting.
i was impressed at the time that the dog accellerated all the way and stuck the bite with no meaningful bite training behind him other than tug with owner/handler in the back yard.
thanks for comment.

I agree with Yogidog.. As I have mentioned before I like your dog... and wish for you that there were better decoys/helpers in Oz for you to work your dog with.

You know I am no expert on bite but I like the fact he wanted to attack the decoy even though the sleeve was on the ground, not on the hand of the decoy.
Quality of dog's genes can be seen more clearly on a untrained dog, my little knowledge.
VK, he bites better than he jumps

Green dog
Unknown decoy
New surrounding

Good result
VK, your dog is a good dog, and you are one of the very few who are willing to show "real" training videos.
Normally people only show the "chocolate" side of their dogs, but you are no member of the "circus", so you neither care about the quality of the "helper" nor about the (for us) well known "routine", you simply want to see the reaction of your dog.
And neither handler- nor helper "faults" do reduce the real quality of a dog...
That said, there are almost no videos online showing the real behavior of dogs ( always well known handler, well known surrounding, and the dog shows x-times trained behavior ).
The videos showing a dog that "fails" are always made by 3. parties or on official events ( In this context all of you should think about the "for sales" and "for stud" videos ).

VK, though I agree with Susie's above comment, here is a good bite to compare
